05/23/06 Tests on the transformers
This notice is to alert you about maintenance we will be performing.

Start time: 7:30 AM EST Tuesday 5/23/06

End time: 9:00 AM EST Tuesday 5/23/06

During this maintenance window, Orlando Utility Commission (OUC), the building Electric Utility will be conducting the second phase of their tests on the transformers that supply power to the Data Center. As a result we anticipate some utility power loss to the Data Center. We will be starting the generator and transferring the load to it prior to the testing and don't anticipate any power interruption. However, due to the nature of the work, you should consider this a precautionary notice and begin taking any necessary steps in anticipation of interruption of your hosting services.

The Support team will be closely monitoring the servers to ensure that this planned maintenance causes as little interruption to your services as possible.

Again, this work should not affect your service.
05/22/06 Migrating User Data

On Monday 5/22/06 we will be migrating user data and settings from Unix4 to a new server.

Start time (Eastern): 2:00 PM Monday 5/22/06

End time (Eastern): 10:00 PM Monday 5/22/06

This is being done in response to a quota issue which can only be corrected by reinstalling the server's OS.

In an effort to minimize downtime for users, we have installed a new server which will run in parallel with Unix4. The user data will be copied while the server is live. When the data migration is complete, we will set Unix4's IPs on the new server.

The FTP service on Unix4 will be disabled at the start of the data migration in order to minimize content changes. All other services will remain online during the procedure.

Since the majority of the migration will be done while the server is live, we expect less than 1 hour of total downtime.

04/22/06 Scheduled maintenance on our Control Panel, SiteStudio, NT15, NT31, and NT33 servers
On Saturday 4/22/06 we will be performing scheduled maintenance on our Control Panel, SiteStudio, NT15, NT31, and NT33 servers.

Starting at 5pm EST, we will be starting an update of our Control Panel and SiteStudio servers. The CP will be updated to H-Sphere 2.4.3 Patch 11. SiteStudio will be updated to version 1.7. The CP and SiteStudio servers will be inaccessible during the update process. We expect the update to take 4 hours and be complete by 9PM EST. No web/database/mail services will be interrupted due to the update.

Starting at 8PM EST, we will be upgrading the drives on servers NT31 and NT33. The servers will be taken offline and imaged to their new larger drives. Total downtime should be less than 2 hours.

NT15 will be taken offline at 9PM while its second processor is examined. The server is currently reporting only one operating processor and may need to be reseated or replaced. Total downtime will be 30 minutes.
